I first went to this place about 4 years ago when I used to live in Calgary. I visited this place again during a short trip recently. There is no change in the quality and taste of food. One of the really amazing and exceptional Indian food restaurant that serves true authentic Indian food. I would recommend to must visit tis place if you are visiting Calgary or lives nearby.

Very nice restaurant，best Indian food I’ve tasted in Calgary. Server Sunil is very friendly, and made great food recommendations. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Trust me, this place is the best Indian restaurant in the city. Their butter chicken and butter prawn are always so creamy and authentic. Mango juice and the rolled naans are super tasty too. Another 5 star point for this restaurant is their customer service. Arif is our guy. His welcoming and sincere attitudes further enlighten our dining experience. He even remembers our names! He is just awesome!

We were greeted as we came in the door by Sunir, He is lovely. He escorted us to a choice of tables. We sat where we had the very first time we ever went there. He immediately brought cold water and ice and asked if we would like Chai Tea. Yes, always a treat. He and his service are exceptional. He also offered to take our picture as we came in the door. We had # 37, Butter Chicken, # 50, Prawn Madras in coconut, (cashew curry. And Yellow Lentil Curry. (Exquisitely hot spices). Basmati Rice and Naan Each dish was so delectable. A paradise of dishes. He is very attentive, friendly, excellent,kind. After he introduced me to Jas/Jaz, Happy. Who created our lovely dinner. It is extremely clean, delicately decorated, there is a Buffet. I highly recommend a beautiful dinner or brunch there. There is a Buffet for lunch. He also brought us a traditional desert. There is a large parking lot as well. Or just on the street right beside the Restaurant. It was lovely to meet each of you. There should be warning signs. The food at Namskar is so delicious- so vibrantly flavored- chewing too fast is a tragedy. *Peerless* Chicken Curry, steaming fresh Naan, and easy lunch buffet take out makes Namskar my favorite NE food spot. Budget some time and eat slow, this food is worth it.

Our family has ordered from Namskar for ages, and given these difficult times for restaurants felt it was time to post a review. We typically order for delivery, and know to order ahead of time on busy nights. We’ve yet to try a bad dish, but our family-friendly favorites are the butter chicken, Chana masala, naan bread, and Kachumber salad. For the grownups the vindaloo has the perfect amount of heat.
